Primitive Shooter - All enemies will be randomly equipped with the following weapons: Harpoon Gun, Crossbow.Nailguns Shooter - All enemies will be equipped with the Nail Gun.Pistols Shooter - All enemies will be randomly equipped with the following weapons: Flintlock Pistol, Revolver, M1911.Hard Shooter - All enemies will be randomly equipped with the following weapons: Double-Barrel Shotgun, M4A1, AK-47, MP5, M1911, Harpoon Gun, Revolver, Pump-action Shotgun.Easy Shooter - All enemies will be randomly equipped with the following weapons: Taser Gun, Crossbow, Pump-action Shotgun, Flintlock Pistol, Revolver, Nail Gun.Shocking Touch - The player's melee attacks shock enemies, similar to the Taser.Hard Hitter - Increased knockback for attacks.Unlimited Power - The player's power bar is unlimited.Green - All blood and liquid particles and effects are replaced with multicolored flower decals (except for the water in Pirate Cove.Machete Time - All enemies have machetes.Gun Show - A variety of guns with infinite ammo appear in a rug somewhere in the level.Double Jump - The player is capable of a midair double jump.Everyone Hates Me - All enemies will only target the player.Punching Only - The player is unable to kick, pick up weapons, or gain energy to use powers.Splatter - Enemies will explode into blood upon death.Boom Hands - Punching enemies will cause their body parts to explode.Soft Voxels - Enemy voxels are easier to destroy/knock off.Weak Player - The player dies in one hit.Weak Enemies - All enemies die in one hit.Any enemies that get knocked down will instantly die. Zero G - Weapons, blood, enemies and enemy voxels will float around the level like outer space.Slow-Mo Run - When the player runs the game goes into slow motion.Friends Forever - Any brawlers belonging to the friendly (player) faction will remain friendly throughout the entire scenario unless they are hit by the player.Including weapons already wielded by enemies. No Weapons - Removes all weapons from the level.

Living Dead - All enemies are replaced with Zombies, Tentacle Mutants, and Skeletons.No Slow-Mo - Disables slow motion from the powers and power selection wheel.

All lights in the scenario will be disabled as well.

Lights Out - The player can't see anything except for a short distance in front of them.

Random Friends - 40% of enemies in the level become allies.

Superhot - Similarly to the game Superhot, changes the scenarios to white rooms, The enemies appear as red humans and the time moves only when the player moves.

Top-Down - The game enters a top-down perspective.

New modifiers are continually added to the game, even after the full release from early access. Any number of modifiers can be selected at once, except for Beneath Classes and Slow-Mo Run/No Slow-Mo. These modify the Scenarios and change the game to make it more varied. Level Modifiers are options in Paint the Town Red that were added in Early Access v3.1.
